Sanders & Sanders Ltd., founded in 1873 by brothers William and Thomas Sanders in Northamptonshire, began with a small Rushden workshop and five craftsmen. Through dedication, the business grew, employing 70 artisans by 1912 and relocating to Rushden’s outskirts. Advanced machinery boosted production to nearly 6,000 military boots weekly. Now in its fourth generation, it produces over 2,000 premium shoes weekly, holds ISO9001 certification, and exports to over 30 countries, renowned as a top British men’s footwear brand.
